Please help! Desperate!!! Atheros driver accidentally uninstalled!!!

Hi everyone!

I have a toshiba laptop that is running windows 7.
I accidentally uninstalled the atheros driver which I now know I need to connect wirelessly to the internet.
So I'm now stuck as I can't get internet access to reinstall the driver.
I read some similar forums and so tried to follow advice by restoring the system to an earlier point in time.
That didn't work.
PLEASE HELP!

Hi Maxie! Thankyou for your prompt response! I'm not very techno savvy but I think this is correct...would the model number be Satellite L750

That is part of the Model Number .. There are letters and numbers missing at the end ...

Sorry! I told you I'm really bad at this! So I have a sticker on the bottom of the laptop that says part number and serial number. Which one is it?

Why did you uninstall?
Please try to rollback the driver. How To Roll Back a Driver in Windows 7

What error message did you get when restoring the system to an earlier point in time? Please explain what happened.

Hi kaktussoft!
I was trying to get rid of spyware in my computer.
I uninstalled the program unintentionally knowing it was a driver I needed.
I wasn't thinking.
As soon as I uninstalled my internet signal turned off.
I just clicked on the link you supplied...I cannot roll back the driver as it won't let me.

sure it is? It says LAN ... so looks like a driver for wired cable.

Check "device manager", no problems there anymore?
