error: the catalyst control center is not supported bu the driver version of your enabled graphics adapter. please update your AMD graphics driver, or enable your amd adapter using the displays manager.
when i try to update the driver through devicce manager it says that the driver is up to date. pls help

Now with it being a laptop there is a good possibility that it won't work, and you will have to go to HP and get whatever they have for it.

Did you make sure the manufacturer supported downgrading (upgrading imho) to windows 7?
A lot of people downgrade from windows 8 to 7 and then wonder why nothing works because they did not check compatibility.

as a matter of fact my lappy came with windows 7 preinstalled. i dual booted with 8 and then removed windows 7. now im back to windows 7
