Just a fun thread, wondering where you guys place your computers!

I personally put mine on the desk because the floor is carpet which might suck in more dust. (Tower has 5 led fans)

Mine is one the floor, because it really will not fit anywhere else. Full towers are fugging HUGE!

Also, I think it would look dumb on the desk and I don't like how it looks.

Ideally, my case would sit on a little metal cart about 4 inches off the floor on wheels so I can get to the back easily and it stills looks cool.
However, I do not have the room for that, so on the floor under my desk it is.

I found this amusing too: I had to cut away part of my desk for the case to fit there.

My ThermalTake Armor sits on a shelf near a filtered ceiling vent with about a one foot clearance. It doesn't heat the lpwer portion of the room this way.

With ten drives onboard, and the cooling unit, it is a serious task to dismount it.

What does that beast weigh? I know my case, empty, is at about 30 pounds. I have the Antec 1200. Monster of a case.
I love it though, but picking it up to get into it or to the back is just painful.

When it is on the floor, it weighs quite a bit. When it is up on the shelf and I need to take it down, it weighs around 500 pounds.

About a hundred henway.

I like the weigh you measure it.

My case weighs a butt-load when I need to pick it up, but its fine when it is just sitting on the ground.

Sometime ago, my friend defined a butt-load as a unit of measurement, but I forget the value.

Mine is on the floor as it is too big to sit on my rather small desk.

I use a Magnum.
With the difference between the imperial (us ) and Metric (rest or the world ) system of measurement may I suggest a more universal measurement unit

The "Firkin"

This useful unit may be used to measure various parameters Such as weight length and even age

Two be easy for MAC users it is always used as a binary

For example

This is Two Firkin Heavy
This is Two Firkin Long

He is Two firkin Old
