Jeepers, I've been confused for a while now! lol

ok take a look at the eyes on the middle logo. ignoring the fact there are red eyes, there's also a hue or glow around them, maybe just a small light added there, not sure on the terms or proper way to describe it but yeah that light or hue, i'd like to come out just a wee bit more so that when hovered its more intense on the glow than it will be after its been clicked. so basically just do what ya did to the middle...to the ladt one lol confusing again, yes?

i think i'm over complicating it. to answer your question, yes lol middle eyes brighter. you got the rest

from wot am reading here i think if u swap the static orb and the clicked orb around u'll have it just perfect for him. in other words first orb no red eyes, middle orb as u've done and the last orb shud have the red eyes, not the first.

it's my personal opinion fetus that the hover orb should have the red eyes and the clicked orb ie, bottom orb orb the full glowing effect. but hey, it's ur orb so play it how u want.

i was kinda wanting to keep it similar to how the original windows orb reacts. real bright and pretty when ya hover then kinda chilled out when its clicked. i don't always have a need to keep open my start menu for very long, but i'll hover the hell out of it lmao

Perfect! Sorry i didn't better explain the first time. I'm still waking up after an all-nighter of call of duty. very appreciated, now if i could just remember the last prog i used to change the start orb. i think it was resource hacker, but i remember grabbing something else after that worked much better....hmmmm

It seems it won't be so easy for me to change if i can't remember what program i used. i know i used resource hacker at one time, but i think it'll only cover 32bit?

I am new to the forums found them just today and am very excited as I have always liked to change the look and feel of the dekstop and now with windows 7 dont need some external program that doesnt always work for mot of the things I would like to do

I would really like a green lantern symbol for a start button if anyone could be so kind
