Same here it's just very frustrating when everything else is working flawless and Steam shows this error.. Steam updated the client several dozens of times and will update with time to time but don't know why they just don't fix this error.

Yes they know about it coz many users posted on there official forums but surprisingly they never actually responded to this issue... looks like there is some serious problem at the back end which they can't seem to fix at all.

I hope you have a lot of space in your Games drive. It is supposed to be 50 GB. I have never had a game that big. I'm glad I don't have to download it with my sorry internet speed.
