A day ago I have ran IBT @4.4GHz and a delta room of 22°C..Results were pretty encouraging and compare to today's delta is significant ratio.

One thing I do not fully understand is about "Cool Laboratory Pro/Ultra" Tim...

I went through a lot of reading at OCNet Delidded Club. Why some have their liquid dried up after fews months only on Die with their nickel plated IHS and some stays liquid for even a year??

If I ever use that one I want to be sure I can remove the IHS wihtout chipping the Die glass!!!!!

I kept my promise and i'm quoting myself after a month having said i will post new IBT results with a better Thermal Paste, which i did today by changing both the Delidded i5 "K" CPU and my Graphics Card.

Wasn't enough confident with the CLP or CLU on Die so took a very good non conductive one at 16W/Mk actual for both In & Out. Previous T.Paste was a 8,5W/Mk.

Kept @4.4GHz, Delta room 20°C/21°C.
I'm doing on the right time as its no winter time yet and my Delta room is are pretty like last month and the results were reaching 67°C at max Temps.

I stayed under the 60°C...(58°C)!!!

That's exactly the Temps i was expecting when i delidded my Core. Previous were so high before, i even reached 105°C TJM on my last valided overclock @4.9GHz.

I have an average of 10°C minus gain since, with this new T.Paste!!

I might try at later date when the Thermal paste will have cure itself and if i can get around 90°C @4.9ghz, i might try to beat my score @5.0GHz!

I found some @4.4GHz (less vCore) results back in October 04, 2013 made at the same weather & nearly same condition...with the Undelidded Core!

Highest were 63°C to 71°C...pretty much gained, now!

Yea, why r u using such a high voltage for 4.4? Also is that result under your custom loop?

No, the 2013 results were with an AirCooler 120mm in Push/Pull, was a good one, though!

Well i'm using such actual high vCore because my Razer keyboard driver that is at shame past under 1.224V and keep BSOD once in a while, also have a lot plug onto the motherboard so i try to keep on the safe side between 1.224 to pick 1.24V. I have to change for another brand sooner or later.

Your i5 K Core looks better than was mine before, or?...Three of your cores are pretty close Temps but its no autumn time where you are, yet.

Yeah, it tooks me a hell of thinking before heading nut delidding, but it came right and i'm still suprised i've done it.

Results are there and with some technical hand-skill (i meant readings!!), sleepling well, being calm before action then you can succeed!

Do not think it matters Discrete or integrated.

Edit: I'm using Gpu Virtualization with Integrated enabled too.

any whoot, heres a REALLY quick OC to 4.6GHz at 1.224v

Not that significant i think if you have a good cooling system.

You've got more CPU phases than my motherboard...with fine tuning you might be able to low those Temps at same Ghz. Should try another thermal paste too.

My temps at @4.6GHz Aircooler last year were two degrees more than yours actual, though!

i just threw a voltage at it and set it to 4.6 literately 2 minutes. im using artic silver MX-2 1 fan in pull

If i recall well the Artic Silver MX2 is a 5.6W/Mk thermal conductivity only. You should at least try to use a 8.5W/Mk paste for better results under the H80i.

As I'm not using i7 K core i can't be much of help about disabling HT or not, though it looks not making that much change with or without.

The thing I've noticed about almost all reputable Thermal Paste comparisons are just like this one. Results: Closed-Loop Liquid Cooler; High Mounting Pressure - Thermal Paste Comparison, Part Two: 39 Products Get Tested You can count them if you want, but about the top 20 are within 3C of each other, which means that they are just about all the same. I'm not sure 3C will make a big difference to any of us. Personally I use Noctua NH-T1, which may not be the winner, but is right up there with them. I have used Coolabs liquid Ultra and didn't notice any difference. It was probably there, but it made no noticeable difference until I decided to clean it off.

Noctua NH-T1 is a 11W/Mk thermal conductivity, i'm not surprised its a good one too.

There's different packages from 1gr to 5gr, so is the price too. If you head to a good brand you'll need to take the less amount of paste for a longer time.
