Hi: I have an email with an attachment which suddenly I cannot open. I receive the following message: "Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded". How do I change these settings? I have disabled Norton but that didn't work.

Thanks,

Ardath Morrison

What email client? You can't open it because it isn't on your local PC yet, it's on the email server from your description, still? (though choice of word suddenly is interesting...)

If you aren't connected to the internet, that would do it.
If the attachment was not allowed at the server level due to size restrictions or content, that might be issue, also.

Please elaborate on details if that wasn't of any help.
