Thanks for the suggestion Doc but I have a lot of Professional music software on my system and that all needs to be reloaded and configured which takes a very long time. The easy transfer just does mail and documents e.t.c.

If you want you actually could do an upgrade install from the RC assuming you are upgrading to Ultimate RTM. Although it's not officially supported by Microsoft, they actually provided the instructions on how to do such an upgrade in their MS Win 7 Engineering Blog.

Of course most advise that the best practice is to do a clean install, but it might be worth a try to see if it works out for you. Worst case (assuming you back up your data properly) is that you would have to do a clean install anyway if you weren't satisfied with how the upgrade install turned out. I did it, btw, and it worked out pretty well for me. I really think that, among other things, MS has improved the upgrade process quite a bit.

I got mine today and was surprised it was a day early! I really wanna install it but i don't wanna lose everything i have i'm too lazy to go through and make backups too lol

I haven't opened my 32 bit pkg yet, (thinking about keeping it sealed to preserve potential future collector value since I have Technet and don't really need the key), but the 64 bit disk has some pretty intense laser holographics on it that wouldn't show up in a photo. Very cool, imo. I really appreciate having an original copy of the 64 bit media from the party pack, although I have my Technet version (modified to eliminate ei.cfg so I can choose which version to install) on a flash card. The tote bags are pretty cool too.
