I took the original start orb from explorer.exe, extracted the file called 6801.bmp, opened it in PS, brushed the old orbs over with the brushing tool, then i placed the other bmp (The original power button) and resized it before i placed it.

I was curious, did all of you guys make your own signiture tags? They look cool.. by chance anyone have any tutorials on how to make those signitures in PhotoShop? I would like to learn as much as possible with this windows 7, and become as helpful with all of this as you have become with me.. Since xxrazor has been helpign me and continued to help me still..

You need to make sure you save as a 32bit Bitmap image and also make sure the background is totally black.

I'm having a minor problem. I can't use a custom theme because the files I need to modify won't (modify). I've tried UXCore Style and I've taken ownership of the files but when I try to paste in the new files I can't because it says the file is in use. What do I have to do to change these files? Strange that UXCore Style isn't working anymore

try putting the theme in %windir%\Windows\Resources\Theme then apply it

yeah, I know...it is. The problem is that the files that need to be modified aren't being modified by UXCore Style and I can't change them manually because they are in use

dude...it's not the theme, it's the fact that the files won't change and even tho i should be able to mod them manually i can't...don't worry, someone will come along that knows what i'm saying

If you happened to paste the files you were about to replac and windows says that the file is in use... try renaming the file(s) you want to replace first then move the file(s) into that folder

That sounded good but didn't work. Still says file is being used. It's really weird coz I've done this HEAPS of times

Ok, try uninstalling Uxcore though remove program or something like C Cleaner, then install Uxcore again, Make sure you reboot> important.
