Night Hawk are you trying to do an upgrade install or clean install on the second hard drive and is partition on both drives GPT or MBR? If you have Grub boot manager you would need to disable it temporally and use windows boot loader, Windows 10 will fail to install if Grub is the boot manager is loaded during install and first few reboots. No need to disable Grub for Windows updates, just new builds. I am up pass my bed time, I need to get some

- I have done a clean install of Windows 7 using Dell re-installation disk (Dell sent me one). I also use Free Macrium reflect backup and restore.



mine is internet connected and doesn't take any more than 15 minutes to install from scratch.
