BSOD just installing drivers, error 124. New Computer

I have received multiple BSOD's while attempting to get my new rig up and running. I formatted my old hard drive that had my old windows on it and installed windows on a new solid state. It still prompts me to pick from two windows 7's upon start-up.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Is the old hard drive still attached when you boot Windows? If so, disconnect it - if I am correct, it should not boot. If it doesn't boot up, reconnect the old hard drive again and boot again, then post back here.

I just attempted without the old hard drive attached. Would not boot. Plugged my old hard drive back in, booted and it started back up and now I'm sitting at 0% complete on configuring windows updates. Have been here for quite awhile.

-Update. It failed to configure windows updates and reverted changes and brought me back to the login screen.

Ok. You need to install again from scratch, but this time leave the old HDD disconnected to avoid the installer writing the System Reserve partition (which holds the boot manager) to the old HDD.

Try that and report back.

Formatted every drive and then disconnected my old HDD and left the SS in and installed windows on there without any problems. I then proceeded to install my motherboard drivers and got multiple BSOD's. I had to change my dump file settings and finally caught the last one. I will attach.

Its definately a hardware issue - I suspect CPU from the thermal information in the eventlog at the same time as the .dmp report.

I was able to pass 5 standard test, but it was getting quite hot. Turned it up to high and computer BSOD and was becoming quite hot. Im going to take it apart and see if my corsair h75 is hooked up properly.

Edit- The lower dump file is the one I received when installing the mandatory updates when i was shutting down. Will be shutting down now and checking connections on my H75.

Edit- I did not have my fans plugged into the cpu fan power. Switched that to the cpu fan pins via the split that was provided. Plugged the pump into a regular fan spot, like was stated on the install video I found. Passed the standard and high tests 5 times each. Will go ahead trying to install mobo drivers again.
