W10 is slower than W8.1 on my system. They are both in VMware Player and maybe that distorts reality.
why vmware? you could native boot w10 in a vhd[x] file container. It has the same effect as being in an isolated vm, but runs at native speed. I ain't never gonna install w8+ on a real partition again thanks to this feature.
Do you have a link to a step by step? The only time I tried a VHD I think it didn't work right because it was from an XP installed on D: that saw its system partition as H:. Now that everything is on C: again I'd like to give it a go.
