How to Dual Boot Windows and Mac OS

My friend is trying to Dual boot his PC to be able to choose Mac (yosemite) or windows 7 on boots, I was wondering if anyone would help me with that information. Also he wants to keep his current info and make just a different partition on the same hard drive as the Windows 7 OS. My thoughts are that you cant have two different formats on one hard drive, I believe mac is a completely different file format, but he wanted to know from people that actually knew, I told him that he would probably have to do it on a completely different hard drive if it could be dual booted at all.

Be aware that running any Apple OS on non Apple hardware is a violation of Apple's EULA. For me that is the end of discussion. Yosemite is a pirated version of OS X and cannot be discussed on this forum.

didnt know, as I said friend wanted to know, I just thought it was the latest version of mac OS pretty sure yosemite is on their website to purchase. https://www.apple.com/osx/

Yosemite is a legitimate product. Yosemite Zone is not. In any event we cannot help with installing any Apple OS on non Apple hardware.
