Hey Sevenforums,

This is my first time writing here and i'm kinda frustrated, so i just mixed around with my bios alot and i changed the preset to "High-Performance" from "Normal" and it all of a sudden gave me a blue screen at Windows startup logo. It just kept on going forever until i changed it back to normal preset (performance).

Keep in mind that i could enter safe mode and mix around in there, i even tried uinstalling my video drivers but that didn't help also uinstalled my antivirus to see if that was interfering, it didn't make a difference.

I've also included the DM Logs they're probably all the same (the bluescreens) but i think that it's helpful.

So yea, i have actually no idea what it has against high performance presets, any clues?

Regards, a fellow computer enthusiast.

Stop 0x124 BSODs are hardware related. Most probably your hardware is refusing to work with a preset overclock profile and so it is crashing with a stop 0x124.

Better to stay without high performance profile in that case.

Is the high performance mode very urgent for you?

If not, just keep the default BIOS settings.

If yes, you need the help from overclockers, and I will call them for you.

Yes, you really have a very decent PC.

So let it run with the default settings of the BIOS. If there is any further issue, give us a shout!
