After dealing with bad memory (again), I installed the recently gotten RMA memory. After doing so, I was not able to get to the desktop. The repair your computer with the DVD did not work so... long story short, I was able to get o the desktop and I remember reading about sfc /scannow.

Anyway, after doing sfc /scannow I got a few errors that the system was not able to fix. They all look to be some sort of AMD errors and since I don't have an AMD CPU or board, well... I am baffled to say the least.

Here are the errors... everything else checked out OK.

So, is there an easy fix here?

Also, what does it all mean?

I am using Win 7 Rc Build 7100... if that makes any difference.

Looks like HP printer drivers to me. Uninstall the current drivers. Download the latest version of the drivers from the HP website and install them. Test to see if that fixes it.

I'll try that... still weird tough since I don't use AMD but I have read where HP does that with its drivers or software... bunch AMD/Intel together... I am starting to haste them more and more.

I used to buy all my printers from HP, not anymore... but I digress :o :p

Now, another question... is this a Vital error for me to fix or can I live with it?

Is there anything wrong with the system other than this error message?
Does the printer work?
If it's not causing any trouble - why try and fix it?

The system seems to be working fine otherwise... aside from the few problems I have with bad Ram, which is why I thought to run the sfc /scannow.

The printer is installed here as well but I only use it on the Vista OS since my wife is the one that uses it to print pictures she wants to give away.

That's why I wanted to know what the errors meant, I soon just uninstall it on my end but I am afraid that it may cause more problems.

I guess I will just leave it alone.

Thanks
