Hi guys,
Am having some problem with my Ethernet Connection(wired).
Am on windows 7 32bit.

Problem:-
a year ago, on my motherboard the built in lan port was damaged, so at that time i bought a Lan Card(tp-link).
until last week it was working fine but now suddenly its not working.
1) windows 7 showing red cross on Network connection on TaskBar.
2) No Network Adapters in Device Manager
3) No Ethernet is showing in Change Adapter Setting In Network and Internet.

So far i done is:
1) Installed drivers (deep sleep mode is enable please unplug).
2) re install win 7.
3) lan card checked on another mobo (working totally fine)(so is working fine).

and am using a router in between,
so i called the isp and said him to free my mac address and then i plugged the Cable directly in lan card without Router in between. still no joy. by doing this, seems like that there is not problem with cable(both ips's one and router one's) also...

anything still missing??? plz help me guys this is so annoying me please help

I would download Linux Mint MATE and boot into it and see if network card/s are working.

Then: Load defaults in BIOS, and remove battery and adapter, also remove the RAMs and wait 5-10 minutes. Then, disable onboard ethernet in BIOS if you haven't done so (if possible with laptop BIOS)

I wonder if it is the on board in deep sleep.

You can check manual for PC card for meaning of red light but VBox won't help here as we are trying to see if hardware is at fault (I see you have already tried it on another PC). Make bootable Linux USB/DVD and boot with it (no installation needed).

By the way, did you check if ethernet cable is working? Do you have a spare cable to test?
