The only thing I find with the Obsidian 450D is that it really does much better with a modular PSU.

So... next up an AX860i.

I did get a modular one evga but why do you believe that ?
I have it so it will pull air out of the case instead of pulling from the bottom vents limiting one dust source :/
Plus the wiring worked out cleaner with most connections towards the back and not the front side.

Its just this TX850V2 has so much cabling its difficult to close up the right side.

With a modular PSU you can save space by using just the cable you need.

I have to find space for 2 whole 4-pin chains out of which I am using just one connector to power the NZXT IU01.

Okay now I see yes it is an good advantage indeed a boat load of cables left over on mine
This is my first psu I really didn't know the difference between the 2 beside being able to flip it

He hasn't yet got his ram cooler on yet but I expect soon he will
He's switching out his fans on the cpu cooler now

Done with the new fans on the radiator, very quiet at full RPM, can`t really see the white fans on top, swung the rad around too.

Don`t ask how I managed that last shot but it looks so neat I thought I`s show it anyway :roflmao:

love the Asus Maximus VII ,looks great I just don't like the place of the cmos battery under the armor I would hate to have a custom water cooled system and have to change the battery. But it is one of the best looking one out there.

Full rpm's and quite is a good thing.

The SP140 Red LED High Pressure are what I am running at the front (2 fans), replacing the AF140L stock fans.

On a related note, the PSU I am running is the Corsair CMPSU-TX850V2, a unit which has generally received very good reviews with the one common complaint being that it only has one 12V EPS 8/4+4 connector for CPU power.

How then am I the proud (and somewhat perplexed) owner of this?

Not that I am complaining.

But every review or picture I have seen of this unit shows only one EPS connector.

My unit has two. Not only that, the back labeling is in no way similar to the pictures of the TX850V2.
