BSOD 0x0000004e While playing League of Legends etc.

Hello!

I'm new to the forums. This started to bug me out. I've been thinking about getting a new comp bc I need it in the near future for studies. I'm not sure if I can afford it right now so I figured I'd try to fix this one instead and use it for the time being.

I get this 0x0000004E error usually when playing League of Legends and in some other instances that I can't recall. I always have Opera runnin in the background playing music on Youtube.

My Computer is Asus ROG G74SX with NVIDIA® GTX 560M and 8GB of ram. I have it plugged in all the time. When I got it about 5yrs ago or something I did a new installation of Win 7 Home Premium and installed all the drivers manually. This started happening about half a year ago.

Welcome to the 7forums.

How frequent do you get the crashes?
If you are using a program like Ccleaner please stop using it while troubleshooting.
This because programs like Ccleaner remove dump files that are needed to troubleshoot.

Or configure Ccleaner to not remove dump files:

The Nvidia Video driver has been flagged in both the crashes in the zip file.
The crashes 0x1a mean problems with the memory.
Please test first your memory and update your Nvidia drivers if the memory test result are giving zero errors.

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 7 Forums

   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Thank you so much for the help. I will do the ram check tonight. Now I got another BSOD 0x0000001A error, new details in the zip. I think this might have something to do with overheating since I had stuff on the laptop keyboard.

like a cardboard box and a plastic bag with stuff in it. together they covered most 80% of the platform.

Please run MemTest86+ as instructed in my previous post, the latest dump doesn't reveal much outside of memory problems.

I will do it tonight. If it finds something I'm not sure if I'm willing to go through the trouble of testing all the possibilities to find out the source of the problem. It is a laptop (hard to fiddle with) and I have few chances timewise to work on this. I just have to call it quits and get a new computer... But we'll know more in the morning. Ty for your help.
