My Windows 7 desktop PC has lost its internet connection. It is connected over wi-fi.
I tried doing this in CMD:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
NETSH winsock reset catalog
NETSH int ipv4 reset reset.log
NETSH int ipv6 reset reset.log
This did not work.
I also get an error dialog on startup that says:
The program can't start because DNSAPI.DLL is missing...
Yet dnsapi.dll is in the Windows/System32 folder.
Is there any software that can fix this?
Can anyone suggest ways to restore the connection?
Thank you for your help.
