BSOD approximately daily after reinstalling Windows 7, BCCode: 9086

I recently reinstalled Windows 7 after my Alienware laptop stopped booting. After that, I have been getting a crash+restart approximately once a day.

A dialogue box after a recent shutdown said:

Sometimes the computer crashes with a BSOD. Other times it crashes with a strange mess of blue and white static. I managed to snap a picture of the latter behavior:

Does anyone have any ideas about how to stop these repeated crashes?

Welcome to the 7forums.

Have you used Tweakbit to update your drivers?

Programs that claim to update your drivers install either the wrong or corrupted drivers.
If you have installed any driver with {driver program}, please remove them as it may cause trouble.

With laptops: the manufacturer from the laptop tweaks their drivers in such a way so you are forced to install their drivers. Installing other drivers will give you trouble.
If you have installed anything from Tweakbit, remove every installed driver and ONLY install the drivers from your manufacturer

The Intel RAID Contoller driver has been flagged multiple times.
Please check your manufacturer for driver updates

A level 2 cache error from the CPU has come up a few times.
If you are overclocking anything, revert back to stock and test the system.
Please note the temperatures of the CPU when idle and under load.

Thank you! I just updated my drivers using Intel's Driver Update Utility. I'll say if the laptop crashes again. I have not been overclocking it.

Again, with laptops this is a bad idea!

You said to install drivers from my manufacturer. I have an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ processor, so I assumed the Intel website would have the right drivers.

If not Intel, should I download the drivers from the Alienware website? If not there, where should I obtain these drivers?

Yes, you need to install the drivers from the manufacturer of your laptop, not of your CPU

Alienware, as it is your manufacturer, should have the right drivers for you.
