Trash, yes it have only on/off button but for the money its excellent, about 30 euros.

Bill, new desk yes, I'm planning to put the parts into the desk. Waiting for the price and I need to think more about that cable/parts management inside.
If you guys have some suggestions, you're welcome. I'll try to post picture from what I have planned to do.

Yes it is and yes I do need a new mouse for my laptop I'm using one from a very old gateway x-p rig
Keyboard would be nice for my Acer rig
Never thought to look at coolermaster for a keyboard and mouse thanks for the heads up indeed a good deal for sure

Just a good mouse no frills wired I already have 2 gaming mice for the desktops.
keyboard well I do like the illuminating keyboards but it does need to be adjustable brightness wise
I'm getting used to my Logitech G710+ but it was not cheap and the special characters do not get any back lighting so they are hard to tell what is what
Although Micro Center did price match Amazon for 80.us
I hate to spend that much again 40-50. :/

I do like my Logitech M705's mouse a lot. They are wireless. I use two of them and their not to pricey.

I have two Das 4 Professional keyboards that are USB. They are the best I have ever used but they don't light up. They are a bit costly but to me they are worth it.
I would suggest looking for a mechanical keyboard in your price range.
What ever that range is.

Quality mechanical keyboards are like quality SSD's; once you use one you won't go back to the old style hardware.

Well you won't know how good it is until you get it. It's sure is colorful.
I have went through many mouse and keyboards looking for the right one.
I still got 5 or 6 in the closet just in case.
Please keep us informed on your opinion.

I got the Das because of the pain I was getting in my hands and up into my forearms when typing a lot. With the Das I no longer get the pains.

Cherry in the car world is a good thing still not sure about the keyboard world though.

Might be as audioable as my Logitech G710+
I thought the floating keys was interesting and easy to clean
Not sure what all is tied to the FN key though hopefully a manual will come with it
