Solved BSOD 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1 id 2057

Built a new desktop for my son, all working brilliantly, proud moment. Then the ugly BSOD started appearing.
crashes at random while gaming and on the internet
I have checked all my drivers and they are up to date. did the hard drive check for bad sectors. the Bios is upto date.
there are 2 xbox remotes connected to the machine, and every so often one makes the usb connected noise. not sure if that is relevant.
oh and rechecked all the connections....twice
have attached the blue screen info and the mini dumps
any help would be much appreciated

Hi bonsix mate and welcome to sevenforums!

The BSOD is caused by xusb21.sys. This is the XBOX controller driver. Remove it and retest.

I would also recommend you to go here and download and install the Intel USB3 and the System & Chipset driver.

MSI Global

Go there and select your OS and report back if you get any other issues!

working on that now. if i remove the xusb21.sys. driver will the xbox controller not just reload it when it gets plugged in again?
should i download from the net first?

Well the things that I wanted you to download were updates for the system itself which can help you get rid of the BSOD, the first one is the USB controller which might/should fix it.
