I like it a lot. I think it's a new release and it didn't take long to sort out and organize hundreds of bookmarks after I figured out how to use it!

That might solve a lot of my problems, Callender. I am used to using folders for favorites (bookmarks), but I have never been able to figure out how to add something to existing folders that transported from IE when I made the switch. I end up with a bunch of unrelated saved pages in FF (unsorted bookmarks), which annoys my librarian brain no end. Does this menu equate to IE folders? In other words, Dog Stuff were listed in the menu, could I add 10-12 items to it?

Well basically in FF you create new folders and name them so yes you can create a folder named "Dog Stuff" and then use bookmark sorter to move any related existing bookmarks into that folder. That bookmark sorter add on works best in full screen mode. Once you figure out how to use it and select and move multiple items (that's the tricky part) it doesn't take long to organise bookmarks.

Basics:

Create a folder:

Select bookmarks to move into the folder:

Move bookmarks.jpg

Sort the bookmarks:

Sort bookmarks.jpg

Note: It's possible to sort multiple bookmarks into multiple folders in one go.

Very helpful post, Callender. I am embarrassed to ask such a basic question, but how did you create the "Dog Stuff" folder in the first place? That's where I get hung up in FF. I know it's probably obvious, but I need remedial tutoring. :o

Well if you right click on the top pf the screen - the dark blue part in my screenshot, you get the option to display the menu bar. Once you can see that - select bookmarks and scroll down to folders then right click and create a new folder and name it.

Pardon the delay in replying. Life...

Those are great instructions. Thank you, Callender... Probably something you can do in your sleep, but my brain needs a kickstart. :D

I am sorry about all the information that has been sent to help me. I am not computer literate. Some of the information is confusing to me. I just did not understand all the downloads I had to do in order to make it work for me. I used to have XP. When ever I needed to save a page of some sort,I would just right click, then put it on my desk top, after that I would put them in a new folder. I had to many Icons on my desk top. I am looking for something similar to that XP
