Hello

I have a system that has all drives I can swap out. I have a samsumg 850 pro 1 TB in this system. A computer shop set this up for me.

What I want to do is pull out my 850 Pro 1 TB SSD with 10 and install a new 512 850 pro SSD with 7 pro 64 bit

So I put in my new 850 pro SSD with the Samsung Install nav dvd turned it on. I get a black screen with blinking cursor on and of then black screen if I hit enter screen comes on and I'm in bios but, computer goes no farther.

So I tried putting 7 in and I got the Error 0x8030024 which I found out remove all HD's which I did but, I haven't tried 7 again.

Thanks

Thanks to this board I knew about error 0x8030024 and how huge it is to take out storage drives when installing win 7.

The next thing I'll need to learn is how to wipe off an ssd drive with win 10 and do a fresh install of win 7 pro on my laptop
