Should I turn off my audio receiver every night?

If you are talking about an AVAMP then yes as they use lots of power and generate lots of heat when active. Most receivers have a standby mode they go into that saves power, I would recommend to let it go into this or do turn it off if it does not have it as it will save on your heating bill.

I just check my Yamaha R-V502 Receiver manual. There is no standby option for my model. What else can I do?

Page 15 of the manual says it under number 2.
Sorry for the huge pic I'm on my phone. Edit: Oh I guess only Europe models get standby or at least a light for it that is odd. If it doesn't have the light I would just turn it off at night.
