Hello all,

I've being trying to solve a very annoying bug on my computer, hope someone will came out with something that will help me:

1) 99.9% of times that this bug occurs is when I keep the laptop running all night, during the daily use is very rare happens;

2) the crash mainly occurs when I have this scenario: computer is locked, so I hit CTRL+ALT+DEL, type in my password and hit ENTER - bsod occurs right after it.

3) Already tried the /sfc scannow, however no issues were found.

4) Already formatted and reinstalled windows

Does anyone have any ideas about what should I try?

After 24 hours running without any problems I left my notebook turned on with the screen locked at night. Today at morning, another bsod. No clue what it might be at this point...

Diagnostic Test

 DRIVER VERIFIER

   Warning
Please make a backup of your important files and get your rescue media or create one.
Please create a restore point.

Please follow this tutorial to run driver verifier.

Driver verifier stresses your drivers and will crash your pc if any driver fails due to a violation.

Driver verifier should be performed for a max of 48 hours, or when you have a bluescreen, whatever comes first.

If driver verifier has found a violation and you can't get back into windows normally, try to boot into safe mode and reset in safe mode driver verifier, or in the troubleshooting options open command prompt and type verifier /reset.

   Note
Your system will act very sluggishly while driver verifier is enabled, this is normal as your drivers will be being subjected to heavy testing in order to make them crash.

Hello all,

sorry for being so long, but finally got some good news. After turning the driver verifier on and running it for 3~4 hours the BSOD occurred again, but this time the driver RTKHD64.sys has showed. So I turned the verifier off and decided to do a clean removal of it and download the latest version, and here is where things became a little strange....

1) when I tried to install it, no matter what I do, my sound kept freezing;
2) when I get a successfully installation, the APC INDEX MISMATCH BSOD becomes right after it

So, the solution I found was to download some old drivers, the same that came out on the year of my laptop launch and guess what? no more BSODs! I re-run the verifier for 48 hours, turned off and kept the computer online for + 12 hours and nothing seens to be broken. This was really annoying to solve it, but thankfully I could fix it.

Thank You all for the tips, hope I can help someone like you guys did to me.
