How to make Windows 7 64-bit Laptop into firewall

Hey guys,

I have Windows 7 64-bit installed on Lenovo Laptop and I want to use it for powerfull firewall. Specs are under below.

Processor: 2.80 GHz Core2Duo
RAM: 4 GB
ROM: 80 GB
OS Installed: Windows 7 64-bit

Can anyone tell me how to make into firewall.

Seems to me the term router is pretty much what this machine would be
Why is what I would inquire

Do like most people would if you want more than windows firewall get a paid for security suite and use it's third party firewall offerings
Why complicate matters which you and I do not understand

Many years ago I built one using Smoothwall, just as an exercise. I used a pretty low spec old desktop, but that didn't affect www speed. One requirement is, however, a minimum of 2 LAN sockets. Jumping in at the deep end with Linux and firewall concepts at the same time proved to be a steep learning curve.

I dont have a minimum of 2 LAN sockets on Laptop.
