no more Windows 10 update? (remove GWX control panel)

I had GWX control panel installed previously.

I did a clean Windows 7 reinstall and all updates. I did not yet install GWX. I don't see anything nagging me to "upgrade" to Windows 10 anymore. Did Microsoft pull those updates after the Windows 10 free offer expired?

I want to delete stuff from my computer that I won't need, this includes programs I have downloaded but don't need anymore.

MS either removed or reversed the "updates" but I still trust them no further than I can spit upwind in a stiff breeze. I would still install the GWX Control Panel just in case MS decides to try again. Spybot Anti-Beacon is another good one to have since it will reduce, shut down, or eliminate the spyware (aka telemetry) MS will place on your computer.

MS did issue a remove W10 update tho.

Nope, it also works on Win 7 and 8.1. I have it on all three of my Win 7 machines. In fact, they recently had an update so they are still keeping up with it. Its only downside is you have to manually check for updates (I generally do whenever MS has any updates).

The rollups make it a tad difficult to exclude weird updates so most of us have just used the security only releases after waiting a little while after release
February's were actually recalled
February 2017 security update release delayed

In any rate I'm sure most of these would still show up on a clean install that I have avoided for various reasons
