My specs:
Motherboard - Asus P5N-D
CPU - QuadCore Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, 2400 MHz (9 x 267)
Memory - 8 Gb (3.326 Gb in XP)
Video - PNY GeForce 9800 GT (512)
Tri-boot XP Pro SP3, Windows 7 Pro 32 bit, Windows 7 RC 64 bit (7100)

I just installed my new version of Windows 7 Pro 32 bit.
My TV Wonder HD 600 PCI-E tuner card will not install. It works fine in XP and in the pre-release 64 bit version of Windows 7 (build 7100).
It also worked fine with the 64 bit version of Vista that I just replaced.

See ATI TV Wonder HD 600

And then tell me how to fix it... :D

So far, no luck. I did exactly as you suggested. The only inf files I could find were buried deep in the ATI folder. Apparently the install doesn't pit anything relevant in the WINDOWS\INF folder. Also tried pointing it to the WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 folder.

I haven't found anywhere on the ATI site where they provide any support other than just providing the drivers.

The install file should extract to a folder. Find the .inf in there. Give me a link to what you're using and I'll have a look for you, if needed, so I can advise.

You may want to do the steps I said while the .exe install is still running and not closed. Let it just sit there. It will have the folder you need in your system's (or user's) temporary directory.

OK, I added another screen shot and the link to where I downloaded it to my page at http://mewnlite.com/TV-WONDER".
You'll notice in the directory tree that I actually loaded three sets of drivers. If you look at the filenames, all of them are supposed to be for both the 32 bit and the 64 bit versions of Vista *and* Windows 7.

Try installing by clicking on the .inf as part of the process I said. Only this time, use the one in AVS_HSUSB.

That didn't work either. I think that sounds like a USB driver anyway. But what I *did* do and it worked was to use "pick from a list" and then picked Sound, Video, and Game Controllers, then ATI, and there was my ATI Unified AVStream Driver. I installed that, and it worked!

Thanks for prodding me along.... :D

"Pick from a list" was part of my original instructions. Only I told you as, "Let me pick." I abbreviated.

Glad it worked out for you! :D

Ah I see how you did it. Slightly different. Hey, if it works, it works. heh
