TCP/IP Protocol Driver, is reporting "tv_ConfigMgrErr24" & Code 24

For the errors in your text file, I suggest the following fixes-

1.
Step 1: Press Windows + R to open Run window. Input services.msc in the dialog and click OK.
Step 2: In the main interface of Services, find Windows Driver Foundation – User-mode Driver Framework service and double-click it to open its Properties window.
Step 3: Under General tab, set the Startup type to Automatic. Make sure the Service status is Running. If not, you need click Start button to enable the service. Then, click Apply and OK to save the changes.

Restart your system.

2. Try fix 3 here- 3 Methods to Fix Error 0x80041003 in Windows 7/8/10

3. This appears to be related to Real Downloader and Real Player. I assume both are installed. If so, I suggest reinstalling Real Player.

Your last problem seems to be unrelated to this thread.

1. I found WDF and changed it from manual to automatic and restarted, but found that audio had
stopped and when i opened Windows Photo Gallery it hanged and wouldnt load. It did id a problem jpg
but when i opened the folder it was in, it slowed down everything and when i tried to delete it froze
the cp. Is there another way to delete a problem file without going into a folder and selecting it?

2. Error 0x80041003
According to the reports from the users, the WMI 0x80041003 might occur when the WBEM repository is damaged. If so, you need to disable the WMI service and go to delete the Repository folder. Here’s a simple guide.

Step 1: Press Windows + R, enter services.msc and click OK to open Service app.

Step 2: Right-click the Windows Management Instrumentation service and choose Stop to disable it. Then, close the Services window.

Step 3: Now, open your File Explorer and go to C:\Windows\System32\WBEM directory.

Step 4: Copy the Repository folder to another path and then delete it under WBEM folder.

After that, restart your computer. The Repository folder will be recreated and the error 0x80041003 should be resolved.

Now should I restart WMI after doing this becos it says

"if this service is stopped most windows based software will not function properly
and if this service is disabled any service that depend on it will fail to start"
and the services whic depend on WMI include

Internet connect service
IP helper
Security centre etc

3. Do i uninstall Realplayer first?

Thanks

For 1: Go to Control Panel, Device Manager. In Sound................... are any problems shown?
I don't know what deleting a .jpg would do to cause the things you encountered. What path was the file in and what is the name of the .jpg.

For 2: Set a system restore point first before performing the operation.

For 3: It may not be necessary but go ahead and uninstall RealPlayer from Control Panel, Progams...........

The sound seems to be ok now after i rebooted. but WPG cant open without freezing. The message
said that it couldnt load a certain jpg, one of my daughters snaps, but i couldnt delete it. Everytime
i tried the cp froze. Is there a way of deleting a jpg without opening the folder and clicking on it?
In fact windows photo viewer seems very slow now and WMP doesnt want to open. It says failed to
connect server or something like that. I'm not connected to internet when i do this.

When i uninstall realplayer do i uninstall the library too? I just want to be certain i'm not making
a mistake.

I don't think you need to uninstall the library. We're only doing the uninstall/reinstall in attempt fix a file that wouldn't be in the library.

Are you able to move the .jpg to a new folder without anything in it?

Also, is there only one User Account on your system?

yes.

i wasnt even able to open the folder without the cp freezing completly. but
i managed to copy the folder to a flash drive, but it couldnt copy the problem file and froze.
i restarted and deleted the entire folder for ever. The jpg file i deleted supposedly was only about 800kb, but the computer reported it was 141mb, so something was clearly very odd. I'm going to
open every application i usually use and see what happens/how many errors i get.

since then event viewer only reports 1 problem. It says

Log Name: Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-EventTracing/Admin
Source: Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-EventTracing
Date: 31/01/2021 21:00:45
Event ID: 3
Task Category: Session
Level: Error
Keywords: Session
User: SYSTEM
Computer: user
Description:
Session "Microsoft Security Client OOBE" stopped due to the following error: 0xC000000D

I dont know if this is a problem or not.

However the TCP/IP has still got a yellow mark. When i click on it says

This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. (Code 24)

I have followed the suggestions found on internet several times and reinstalled it. it doesnt seem to
make a difference. I wonder if it might be a fault of my internet provider so i will contact them.

thankyou

Yes the TCp/IP still has the yellow exclamation mark and says
This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. (Code 24)

I searched the net and saw that a number of people who had this error also used the same dongle as me.
I wondered if the tcp/ip problem was linked to this error log

Log Name: System
Source: Service Control Manager

The Mobile IP Route Manager service failed to start due to the following error:
This driver has been blocked from loading

there is also a wmi error

Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.

thankyou

Sorry I took so long to get back.

Go to Control Panel\Network Connections. Right click on the network you use to access the internet and select Status. Click on Properties. Would you provide a screenshots of both the Status screen and the Properties screen.
