And so the benefits of more than 2TB HDD usage are...?

My motherboard supports BIOS and UEFI (a rare treat in this day and age) and I have no issues with gaming or my everyday computing using legacy BIOS. The fact they all tout on about UEFI being more "secure" is a joke to me if you understand its ring 0 and pre-boot BS. It's all about control IMO Read ALL of this.

I encountered signature checking BS trying to install Windows 7 on a freaking NVMe drive FFS! Took two "updates" to fix that BS. How about I allow what ever I want to run on my computer?

I've been looking at alternative firmware/BIOS which does exist.

They'll just get creative and etch it into DNA at birth... If I can think it, they are.

How has this worked out for everyone? Is Win 7 secure boot relatively painless? Or is it a unicorn?

My hardware supports both legacy boot and UEFI, so obviously I'll want to try for the latter if it's not hard to get secure boot functionality working (my only reason for using UEFI).
