I was glad to see this new update. The last update broke the Roboform auto login to my Comcast Email. Now it works again.

not sure if there will be a "regular" non-esr edition of FF 115.0.3 (maybe later or tomorrow?); only an esr edition is currently available

I've skipped 115.0.2 so I jumped straight from 115.0.1 esr to 115.0.3 esr

Ever since I installed 115.0esr 64b on my Windows 7 64b laptop, Firefox has failed in the updates to 115.0.1esr, .2esr, and .3esr if I use the 'Download and Update to the new version' under the Help menu. It downloads, starts installing, and goes on forever (like over an hour when I killed it). It shows the update 'failed' in the log (it did).

I have to go to Mozilla, download the full Firefox installer (ie, Firefox Setup 115.0.3esr.exe) and run it. That install works and I get the updated esr version.

Never had this problem updating Firefox using the mainline 113, 114, 115, etc versions. Would download and update just fine.

Kind of a pain, if it does not resolve I will probably just wait until the next major esr release comes out to do the updates instead of the incremental fixes.

that won't likely happen for Win7/8.x as FF 115.x is the last "major" esr release supported
next ESR release of Firefox will be 115.1.0 (or simply 115.1) coming beginning of August (aka. 8/1)

they are available. it's just that the FF 115.0.3 esr browser itself mistakenly goes to the wrong link {the "what's new" link from the FF 115.0.3 esr About dialog box is incorrect} when it should go here as intended (darn mozilla software devs need to check their handywork with these firefox esr releases carefully):

well Mozilla did finally publish a non-esr edition of FF 115.0.3 and their "release notes" page works now

a little different than the release notes page for FF 115.0.3 ESR
but this will all be moot next week since Firefox 115.1 ESR is scheduled to be released Tue. August 1 and at least one candidate or RC build of FF 115.1 ESR is available to test out

the FF 115.1.0 ESR browser is still using "incorrect" links to the release notes when it should be going here (again, the Mozilla Firefox devs missed on fixing this).

on the other hand, the older Firefox 102.14.0 ESR release notes page does work when clicking on the "what's new" link from the about dialog box in FF 102.14 ESR browser (I have this one installed on one of my Win7 PCs).
