I'm trying to restore my pc to a Patriot P300 nvme drive from an ISO I made in the past using Acronis Image with no success.
The OS in the ISO is Win7 Ultimate x64.When I boot the drive with the fresh ISO , the Start Windows appears and when the animaton of windows flag start to move the screen freeze and restart to an infinit loop.
At first I was convinced that the problem was the ISO.I installed 2nd older ISO.Same identical result.
So I tryied to restore the 1st ISO in another SSD SATA disk and Windows boot perfectly. So ISO is fine but I can't figure out what is causing this problem.
I check the net for a solution and tryied cmd commands like bootrec /fixmbr , or /fixboot or /rebuildbcd with no luck.
Something I want to mention , when I restore the ISO with Acronis , I checked the Restore disk signature (option I never used before).
I also put the Patriot in a USB HDD case and plug it to my pc I want to restore (with Samsung nvme from that I made the ISO's) and Patriot was offline (obviously a conflict with the same disk id from Samsung) , and went to disk management , right click on Patriot drive and change the ID to make it online again.
I put the Patriot alone to my pc with no other drive but freezes at the same screen.
Is it possible OS to block the loading of windows if we change the disk id?
I can't think anything else why windows keep freezing in the same spot again and again.
Any ideas someone?
