Didn't know how to title the thread, but is there a way to tell your computer "listen compy, I am the administrator and everything I click should be taken as 'Run as administrator', got it?"

Just wondering. Any tweaks out there?

The only way I know is to run as administrator. In other words you could enable the hidden true administrator account. Be Warned: If a bad thing gets by your AV or whatever, it will have full administrative rights to EVERYTHING on the computer. Not recommended. Security comes at a price. UAC is much easier than having to switch from a user acct. to an admin acct. and back to user acct. when you want to install something and desire security in XP or 2k.
Info here if needed. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/507-built-administrator-account-enable-disable.html?filter[2]=User%20Accounts

I believe that by having UAC turned off, and since your account is an administrator account, if an application needs administrative rights , it will grant them automatically. I'm not sure about that, though, but I never had to tell the system to "Run as administrator" for anything, while I have UAC turned off. It's done by itself. Are you using an administrator account or a limited account?

Correct my anyone if I'm wrong on the above

Yes, but I think it only happens with limited user accounts, not admin accounts. Could you name one?
