What instant messenger (IM) program(s) are you using?

I am currently using/experimenting with Digsby and I have to say it's really nice to be able to use popular IM services like AIM, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ etc. and also Facebook contacts!

What do you use and what do you like best?

I am currently using the newest beta of Trillian Astra 4.1. I also like being able to use all the major IM services within one client, including FB and Twitter. I also enjoy the Windows 7 integration that goes along with the newest beta builds.

I'm using Empathy, as it supports all of the major IM applications out there. I'm not sure if it's available on Windows...but I don't think that it is.

Wow, I completely forgot about Astra...I last used Trillian when Astra was in the alpha stage and only for invited users.

I like my phone.

I use Yahoo and Live Messenger - but only for task specific reasons, primarily file transfers to supported users. And the first file is almost always a remote control app.

Same I communicate more so through my phone but like you say, file transfers are a click away with a messenger.

Yeah apparently it's not supported by Windows.

Windows Live Messenger

-I used to use Digsby & Trillian Astra but found that 90+% of all on my buddy lists were using MSN. I like Windows Live Messenger and I am just so used to it now. Does everything I need and then some.
