MW2 Campaign... Stuck at 86% completion

So I did the whole campaign in less than 5 hours, which for me, translates into a ver small game since I usually dwell on games and I like to take scenic routes and what have you.

At any case, I did the whole campaign starting at the easiest option (can't never remember what it is). When I was done, the Campaign was at 50% and it baffled me a bit but glad on the other hand as I suspected something else was coming that I had previously missed.

I was kind of upset when someone mentioned that I had to do the campaign again in Veteran (hardest level) to finish off and get to 100% but, the game is not half bad so I decide to try my luck with it. Boy, do you really die on this level, suffice to say, I am done but, to my dismay, the thing now reads 86% and I don't know what else to do.

The only thing left there is a Museum thing but I doubt that is part of the Campaign... anybody else done with it that can lend a hand?

I wasn't very surprised by how short the MW2 SP was since it was also short in MW1...it seems the SP campaigns get a little shorter with each new release of the CoD franchise

maybe you are missing some intel pieces (enemy laptops)...I think there is around 45 laptops to find throughout the levels and that may account for that last 14% you are missing...a site like IGN should have a walkthrough/FAQ that should have all the locations of the laptops if you are having trouble

Ahhh, the Intel Laptops of course, that must be it. I am old school and tend to forget about those new incentives that bamboozle you into believing they are worth something. Much like the wast of time picking up Diamonds on the FC2 game... child's play I guess.

Crispy, where did you hear that and what was it all about? I seriously doubt they are talking about giving us more content for free since it appears they are all about Pay to download content and it is usually for MP gaming... boy those consoles have sure wreak havoc with FPS PC games.

You need to gather all intel and i think if your on steam you have to get all achievements, i have all the intel and most of the accomplishments and im at 98%. Veteran is really hard you have to think about it lol. But the special ops missions are the best thing about that game imho

Edit: Well, as I suspected, the alleged fixes will be for MP hacks... nothing to do with SP content.

Well, if this is all about gathering Intel or Achievments, it will stay at 86% as I am not waste time looking for things that don't mean much to the game

Yes, it seems all they did to the veteran settings is add more people and make the bullets hit you faster no matter where the enemy is or whether the AI is point the gun at you or not... it was still fun to accomplish though.

Special Ops are extremely cool but playing them Lone Wolf on Veteran is almost imposible, more so the Snatch & Clear and the Terminal (among others). I am just a little miffed that they made some of them 2 player only so I am taking a guess that I won't be able to do those since I don't play online.
