...but now all my old games running on Windows 7 play with stretched resolution. My dad was tampering around downloading NVidia control panel and overclocking utilities and whatever, I'm not sure, I wasnt with him when he did but somehow installed something that now my old games (which I LOVED how Windows 7 would automatically put sidebars to prevent the "stretching" look of the games) have just the same stretch look it would do when I would play on XP.
I really want to know if anyone has specifically noticed this. I think its great, but now I lost that beautiful benefit and would like to know if anyone has gotten a way to reverse the effect and get the sidebars again.
I think this is some utility issue, I may have to get 7 to recognize the non-widescreen resolutions and put the sidebars automatically again but dont know how. Any ideas?
