how to get tv signal into my pc?

Hi, I have a LCD TV, and a PC, but i no tv tuner card install on my pc.
My TV and HTPC are connect via 1.3a HDMI cable.

And I've look in TV section in WMC, but it said its need tv tuner card
So, how can i get TV's signal into my PC without buying that card, by using some software that can get signal over TV, via some kid of connection cable like HDMI, D-Sub cable?

Tv is destination not source. does tv have vid out jacks:??

Hi there
some TV's have PC connection output (DVI, Composite and / or s-video. HDMI) etc.

However your Video card on the PC will need some type of INPUT in order to display / record an external Video source. You'll probably need some Video capturing software as well.

Usually people want to get stuff FROM a PC INTO a large LCD screen.

Ahh... I see DVI port on my TV, but since I use HDMI cable to connect my TV and PC, it's seem I lose my DVI cable.
So, I need to find it out in my storage room, hard work. ^^"

I just want to record my favorite TV show in my PC.

to do this you need some kind of video capture card..
to watch TV on your computer thew WMC you need a TV tuner card
