UAC Prompt, screen goes totally black for a second, and then on again.
UAC prompt for example, though not always, when a prompt comes the screen will go black, like it's turned off or changing input, for a second and then display the dimmed desktop with the UAC prompt. Same thing with logging off or switching users, the screen goes black and then "turns on" again to show the login screen again.
This bug doesn't always happen, but the logging off/switching users have always been like that.
So am wondering if it's possible to "fix" this? It isn't really a problem since it's happening so fast, but it would be nice to get rid of that 1 second of darkness.
Edit: The graphic card is a ATI 5870, my guess is the drivers from ATI, maybe some sort of power saver feature or something?
