Hi there,

My user account that I'm logged into is an administrator. I have the Context Menu option "Take ownership" enabled. I also have the "GodMode" folder created. So, why is it that I can't uninstall uTorrent from Programs in the Control Panel? I have taken ownership of the folder that uTorrent is in and the file that's inside.

The reason I am uninstalling uTorrent is because it will not open as my anti virus Avast! has informed me that it contains a virus Win32.jeefo. My secondary HDD my have some contaminated files, so I'm running a scan right now.

I guess Avast! won't remove it on its own?
If it is running in memory itis in use and won't allow you to remove.
Try a reboot and try again.
If it still the same reboot in safe mode and try removing.

If that fails you will need to do a full scale virus scan and let the software do its job.

Also do you have Malwarebytes installed.
This may remove it.
