Hello people!!!

I had problems installing windows 7 from bootable DVD and since I cant post a picture of the error because it is shown when I cannot use snipping tool I decided to make my usb bootable.
I did it following the steps as given by another threat in here but I cannot install windows again.
I think that I shall set the BIOS priority to USB but I hhave no idea how to do it.
Open to good advice!!!!

Hello,

To set the boot priority, boot into the BIOS. Do this by pressing Del or F2 (depending on your computer) during the first screen shown when you turn on your machine.

Then look around for the option. Sorry I cannot help you more, each BIOS is different. I could tell you where mine is, but yours is probably not the same.

A lot of boards have a "boot menu" which lets you choose to boot from USB once.

Look for "boot menu" at startup if you don't want to go back in and change it back.

Some boards don't have it, but most modern boards do. Good luck.

I set all the kinds of USB first to the priorities but the installation process does not start!

Can anybody tell me which shall be the order in the boot priorities in order to do it?

Sorry for being annoying but I have no idea in general!!

It sometimes confusing. You have to go into "hard drives" on some boards. It will be an option in there. it makes it much easier if you have a boot menu, but if not you should be able to find it in "hard drives"

friwise, Was you able to get into your bios menu? I read that you may have a password just to get into your bios. Are you familiar with the way things work in the bios? From your comment of setting all kinds to first priorities you have confused me. I don't have the same laptop as you so just wondering.
Did you save your changes in the bios? Try all your usb ports?

It should be in something like "Integrated peripherals" and it will say 'legacy USB" normally

Laptops have "stipped down" BIOSs sometimes.

I would just go strait to "boot order" and find the USB drive. It will need to be plugged in at the time.

Unfortunately I dont know what is that...
However I followed nate's advice and set USB HDD first on priority and then plugged in USB
Then exit saving changes and then for the first time I had a screen saying something like pre-boot...
But still not helping enough

On most BIOSs the USB drive will need to be plugged in at the time you change it. When it finishes copying the files you will need to change it back.

I have looked on line for your BIOS, but cannot find it, sorry.
