I guess the iso is problematic even though imgburn finds it bootable

you seem to be on a win 7 machine right now so you could try burning with windows 7 iso burner. Very easy to do.

I think it works good for me. Just right click on the download. If you have been having trouble with the burning software that you have been using, then I would say give this a try. its right there and the link to the tutorial will guide in the proper steps to take. Good luck to you with this problem.
