All my games are choppy and freeze.

Hi im having an issue with all my games being choppy and freezing on me every game it seems so far.


my system is:

I3-530 2.93 dual core
4 gigs of crossair ddr3
1 tb HD
550watt power supply
ati radeon X1900GT

and im running it on windows 7 64 ultimate.


all my drivers are up to date

also i wanted to add that any intro videos for the games play perfectly fine but once it comes to actually playing the game it gets choppy.

Oops, never mind, I posted this on the wrong thread.

I know nothing about ATI cards and if you say you have updated your drivers, I can't think of anything else to tell you.

What games, what settings, and what resolution? The i3 isn't a good choice. The cache is limiting, basically 50% lowered compared to an i5 750.

yeah but if it worked fine on my intel pentium 4 celeron 2.8 single core and its not working on this then theres something wrong.

its running at default settings
