*Emergency* My Computers Just Gone to the

This is very strange.

I decided to just use my DVI and see what happens. Well my internet connection shot back up to speed and everything is working normally. Obviously I want to use the other screen as the main one with the HDMI.

Anyone else find this real strange?

I'm going mad over all of these problems.

So, the problem will reoccur every time you plug in the HDMI monitor?

It is just possible that using the HDMI output from your HD5770 will draw a bit more power than your DVI connection so yes this could possibly be lack of power from the Power Supply, if you wanted to research this you could run a program such as speedfan then monitor your voltages on the 12v rail when you plug in your monitor(s) ?

did you find out your minimum requirements ?

Ok, here's what happened.

I tried finding the min requirements but I don't understand most of the categories.

I phoned up ATI and the guy there told me to uninstall everything, CCClean, reinstall everything and then try again. Didn't change anything.

Next he told me to take it to a friends house and try it. Still didn't work.

He said I should return my card back because most likely the cards faulty.

Sounds like either a physical or software conflict issue with that second port (sounds like you mean the HDMI port?) that may or may not be specific to your physical card that is then causing an issue with your wireless card coincidently...

Very weird...

Try exchanging the card as he suggests. Other then that I can only reccomend a full format as you have tried cleaning everything out if it is just a software conflict. If it is a hardware conflict then the only solution is to move cards around and if that doesn't work try a different video card or differen't wireless card.
