As to posting your log... just cut and paste it.

To your BSOD issue...

  1. Since you just built it you may have a HW issue... Did you take precautions against ESD as you built it? ESD = static electricity
  2. What version Win7 and where did you get it?
  3. Do you have all the drivers installed properly?
  4. Try running memtest to see if you have bad memory...
THat should get you started...

I guess the issue is with Ntfs.sys

Run the Memory Diagnostic & HD Diagnostic

Also i would recommend to run System Integrity Checker
Start > Run > CMD >Right Click and Run as administrator > SFC/ SCANNOW

Also run the Driver Verifier becasue so we can find the Exact driver casuing the problem.

Update the Drivers:

Code:
LHidFilt.Sys Fri Sep 26 23:17:26 2008
LMouFilt.Sys Fri Sep 26 23:17:31 2008

Bugcheck Analysis:

This may or may not be due to the caller.

If I may...

That's exactly what I was thinking. Your hard drive may be failing, or may just have corrupted sectors. To try to fix these sectors, open an elevated command prompt (Start>type cmd> right-click>Run as administrator) and enter the command chkdsk /r /f. It may take a couple of hours to complete, so just let it run.

Hmmmmmm... a friends DVD used to install to your PC... that's not kosher as far as Microsoft or copyright laws are concerned.

Did your friend DL this from a torrent? I dont think he loaded a legit copy he owns on your system. You need to ask your friend for details on the copy he/she loaded for you.

I would have to say after seeing your log that I agree with Capt. Jack... the issue appears to be with ntfs.sys.... and the most likely cause is a corrupt hacked/cracked/pirated torrent copy of Win7. Get a genuine copy and your problems will most likely disappear!
