I totally agree(whew) that the author of any works needs to be recognised for their efforts but it is the strangle hold that these people are tied to have on all this.

It's not about the artist(in my eyes) but the cooperations behind it all.

Musicans are way over payed anyway... how can a doctor go to school for 8 years and come out lucky to make 6 figures and someone that naturally can sing or even just has parents that could sing are making millions. Bottom line thats just not right, i dont have sympathy for either party.
