Laptop model:
HP 6735s

Windows version:
Ultimate x64

Problem:
Can't move the screen brightness bar to a higher setting, just reverts itself back to lowest value;
Sometimes I succeed setting it to the maximal value but thats only if I try a lot and if I get lucky...very odd bug;
Screenr - @mekan_zec: Screen brightness fail.

Tried solutions:
Updating Windows
Updating BIOS (didnt succeed)

Anyone know a solution?

Hi Munch,

If the Screen brightness slider isn't working properly, you may need to update your display drivers: Update a driver for hardware that isn't working properly. Or, your laptop may not support brightness adjustments. You can find this out by checking with your laptop manufacturer.

Cheers,

Where did you find the drivers at?

I went to HP for mine after reading this and I cannot find ones specifically for FN keys. Is this the quick launch things?

Hi the only way you will fix this error is to update the bios Here:

Drivers & Software - HP Support Center.

Work for me :) "NOTE" this link is for win 7 home prem 64bit .
If your OS is different just look for the same bios version but for your OS.
