I have 2 computers both Windows 7. My main computer has internet connection and shares it with the second one with ICS. The second computer's connection is found as Home but my main computer's lan connection stays as unidentified and the computers can't connect to each other and share files.

Main computer is set as 192.168.0.1 , 255.255.255.0
Second computer is 192.168.0.2,255.255.255.0, 192.168.0.1,192.168.0.1
When i did this the second computer was able to find the connection as Home and also had internet connection but there was no change in the main one and i can't create/join a homegroup.
I have no router they are connected directly.

I massume you are using a "crossover" or "null modem" cable. Is that correct?
