What search engine?

Speaking of search engines this has to take the biscuit, my friend Alex today said "The best use for Bing is to get to Google" I couldn't concentrate on Photoshop much after that.

I found this interesting. Today at work I searched for images of members of our party. Google found 32 from 48. I then used Bing to search for those Google didn't find and got 6 hits. Maybe it's time for me to change my default search engine

Interesting. It just goes to show that Google, whilst easily being the most well-known and popular SE, doesn't always find the full results. Although I have Google as the default, if I am looking up something fairly obscure I will probably see what the alternatives have to offer as well. No SE is perfect, and having alternatives easily available can help to plug the gaps.

i love the bit at the end "oil discovered under a 1993 ford fiesta" :roflmao: I use google too, simply because Bing's layout and colour scheme offends my eyes, and yahoo is owned by google so its pretty much the same thing, but i use greasemonkey to stop google from logging my searches

I use Google because it consistently gets the most useable links. Bing still has a way to go (and I can't see anyone saying "Just bing it")

I've also used dogpile (Dogpile Web Search), a meta-search site.

I prefer Google, but not by any wide margin, just most comfortable with it. Bing gives me more inconsistent search results, or at least it seems that way to me? Yahoo is ok, but then I prefer google.

I've been using Yahoo! as long as I can remember. I don't like Google because it's biased. Google search engine prioritizes their links to sites that have Google ads on them first. Yahoo seems to list links that are more relevant to search queries.

I use Google all the time. I haven't really given Bing much of a chance but Google works for me.
I also use Gmail, Google Talk, Google Wave, Google Docs, Picasa.

Maybe I should get some shares like Valtonray
