Actually this problem has been around for a long time, blaming Utorrent used to be the first responce for this problem until further examination revealed it was really a driver problem. I can run Utorrent with zero adjustments and never get a crash, although adjusting the upload speed does make the downloads go a bit faster.
I would try a different eithernet driver as I'm quite certain that is the cause of the problem, this has been the case many times before starting about 9 months ago.
